October 14 was World Sight Day, when the optometrists at Doctors Eyecare Wetaskiwin donate their exam fees for that day to provide vision care in third world countries.
Optometry Giving Sight is the charitable organization, and donation boxes are set up in the office for anyone wishing to donate to the cause. As well, Doctors Eyecare staff baked muffins to sell for $1 each, raising an impressive $137.00 with all proceeds are being donated to Optometry Giving Sight.
