ON-SITE OPTICAL LAB

ON-SITE OPTICAL LAB

Optometrists in Wetaskiwin, Alberta

Doctors Eyecare Wetaskiwin is pleased to offer an on-site optical lab where we verify every order for prescription, frame and lens properties before dispensing. Also, this lab allows us to complete some simple prescription glasses the same day and means that patients who want to replace lenses in their own frame won't need to give up their glasses to send away to a lab - the lenses can be cut and mounted right here with a simple one-hour appointment.

Styles that fit the way you live

We have over 1000 designer, business, sports, safety and children's frames to choose from. You can try these on to see in real life how they will fit on your face and how comfortable they will be. We will personally adjust your new frame to fit your face. We offer super thin lenses, digital free-form progressives (no-line bifocals), computer task lenses and many more lens designs. Anti-glare coatings and blue-light coatings are available to ease eye strain and improve the look of your lenses

Care and Maintenance of your new glasses

Lens Care

When cleaning your glasses, please use tepid water to rinse debris from the lenses first. You can then spray them with appropriate lens cleaning solution and gently wipe with a soft, clean cloth. Ammonia-based products such as window/glass cleaner will ruin lens coatings and should never be used. Best practice is to always use the spectacle lens spray and cloth that comes with your new glasses.

Ongoing Maintenance

Keep in mind that your glasses require ongoing maintenance. When you purchase your eyewear at our office, we are happy to provide complementary adjustments, nose pads and screw replacements.

Eyewear Adaption Guarantee

We want you to love your new glasses. If you are unable to adapt to your new prescription, please come into our office for an assessment within 60 days. Changes to the lenses within this time period will be provided at no charge.

Eyewear Warranty

Your frames are warrantied against manufacturer's defect for a period of one or two years, depending upon the frame purchased. Lenses have a limited manufacturer's warranty against coating defects and scratches. This does not cover accidental damage, scratches, breakage or theft.
