Doctors EyeCare Wetaskiwin has an opening for the position of Optical Dispenser.
This is a full-time position, but we could be willing to consider part-time, working into full-time, over the next 1-2 months.
Doctors EyeCare Wetaskiwin is a dynamic, fast paced, family oriented, established and still growing, private optometry practice with patient-centered health care, providing comprehensive eye exams, emergency eye care, dry eye treatments, contact lenses, and boutique eyewear.
We are looking for an individual who enjoys helping others, and working in a positive team environment. Experience not necessary, we are happy to train the right individual.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent patient care and customer experience
- Educating patients about and selecting eyewear products best suited for their lifestyle and budget
- Adjusting and repairing frames
- Electronically Submitting insurance claims and receiving payments, as well as keeping patient files up to date
- Assisting with inventory management
Basic Requirements:
- Passion for helping people see and feel their best
- Proficient computer knowledge (will train on Electronic Management software)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and phone skills
- Reliable and punctual
